About Cody Orchard: https://www.thefarmerinodell.com
From Lisa about Cody Orchard pest management system:
“We follow an integrated pest management system. We focus on using creative techniques to battle pressure from pests, so we are not organic but 90% of our products are certified organic. Fireblight, similar to a cancer, is a big challenge for fruit trees. We have three products that are not certified organic that we use if needed and that all depends on the degree days and the pressure of the fireblight bacteria. We work closely with OSU extension and our chemical supplier to find a soft approach to keep as many beneficial insects are possible in and around the orchard.”
