Small to medium fruit in yellow-green skin. A beloved variety since at least the 17th century, Green Gage has a rich, sweet, honeyed-plum flavor. This variety is fantastic for fresh eating and can also be used in desserts and for canning/preserving. Once ripe, fruit can store for about one month in the refrigerator.
Dwarf with a mature height of approximately 8-10’; 8-10’ spacing between trees is recommended.
